Dr. Florence Munanie Malombe Makindi (PhD) – Chairperson

Dr. holds a PhD in Education Planning and Administration from CUEA, a Master’s degree in Planning, Economics & International Development from University of London UK, a Bachelor’s of Education Degree from Kenyatta University and a Diploma from Kenya Technical Teachers College (KTTC).She won a scholarship from UNESCO/IIEP as the fourth Kenyan and successfully achieved Advanced International Diploma in planning and management from International Institute of Educational Planning (IIEP) in Paris, France.


She has authored and published journals in administration and management. Most importantly her research work for both Masters and PhD on Performance Remuneration and Supervision were all human resource related.
Dkt. has also undertaken numerous short course training which includes Result Oriented Management from Esami-Arusha, SCAC on Board Management and SLDP on leadership among others.Dkt. brings with her a wealth of experience accompanied by meritorious recognition for exemplary performance in most of the stations she worked in which included various secondary schools,
Tutor in High ridge TTC, KNEC examiner and a Curriculum Developer at KIE. She headed KICD Corporate Planning & Quality Assurance docket for more than twelve (12) years and later joined Tangaza University as a senior lecturer in charge of Programmes development before her appointment as the Chairperson.

Mr. Francis Muinde Kiliku – Vice Chairperson

Mr. Kiliku holds a Master of Science degree from Kenyatta University.  Higher National Diploma and Diploma Medical Laboratory Science from Kenya Medical Training College, Certificate in Immunology from Institute of Tropical Medicine from Nagasaki University Japan. Certificate in Vector Borne Diseases (Shistosomiasis malacology) from Bilharz Laboratory Cairo University, Egypt. He has attended courses in Senior Management and Financial Management from Kenya School of Government.  He is a published author and a co-author of several publications in peer review journals.   Mr. Kiliku has a wide knowledge in leadership having held senior management positions at Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).

Winfred Tumboh – Board Member

Ms. Tumboh is a Human Resources Professional with over twenty years (20) combined experience in Human Resources Management and Strategic Planning. She possesses extensive and vast knowledge in modern HR best practices as well as skills and competencies needed to transform Human Resources with regards to evolving organisation changes. She is currently a Senior HR Adviser at Parker Randall Eastern Africa where she participates in offering management advisory services and solutions to fit the clients’ business needs across the Eastern Africa Region and beyond having implemented projects in Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Somaliland, Zambia, Nigeria, South Sudan and Mozambique. Prior to that, she held several corporate HR leadership positions in Manufacturing, Food & Beverages and Professional Services Organizations.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Strategic Management Option) from JKUAT, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (HR Option) from Moi University, a Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management from IHRM and a Diploma in Human Resources Management from Kenya Institute of Management. She is a member of the Institute of Human Resources Management (IHRM) and possesses a HR Practicing Licence.

Hassan Mohamed Mutubwa – Board Member

Mr. Mutubwa holds a Master of Arts Degree in Project Planning and Development from University of Nairobi (UoN) and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Egerton University. He has over seventeen years (17) progressive experience in development field. He has worked in different organizations which include; Madrasa Resource Center – a project of the AghaKhan Foundation, Inter -Religious Council of Kenya (IRCK), Act Change Transform (Act) and Finn Church Aid (FCA). He has a stint at complex environments in local and international organizations funded by USAID, DANIDA, UNICEF, DFID, UNDP SIDA, and NORAD among others. Over the years he has developed constructive and strategic relationships with national and local government authorities, UN agencies, local and international NGOs, coalition, platforms and community-based organizations. He is a member of the Kenya Association of Project Managers (KAPM).

Bishop (I/R) Joseph Kyavoa – Board Member

Mr. Kyavoa is a New Apostolic Church Bishop having been ordained in August 1994 at Dar es Salaam.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Leadership from Management University of Africa and a Diploma in Management from Kenya Institute of Management. He also has a Master’s in Management and Leadership from The Management University of Africa. He previously served in Kenya Posts and Telecommunications Corporation and Electoral Commission of Kenya (defunct) besides being a church minister.

Mr. David Munyao – Board Member

Mr. Munyao holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Management and Leadership from Mt. Kenya University, Bachelor of Education (Arts) from Kenyatta University, Diploma in Educational Management and Leadership from Kenya Institute of Management and Certificate from Igoji Teachers College.  He served as the Kenya National Union for Teachers (KNUT) Vice Chair, Eastern Region and Chairperson/Vice Chairperson Mutomo, Branch in different terms.

Mr. Munyao is an Educationist and Academic Administrator having successfully served as a teacher and lecturer in various learning institutions.  He brings with him a wealth of knowledge in administration and strategic management.
