Ministry Education, Training and Skills Development


A seasoned educationist with experience spanning more than 30 years, Ms. Titus brings a wealth of educational expertise at the helm of the County Education, Training and Skills Development.

She has a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Development and Education) from the South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU, 2020) and Diploma in Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) from Chuka Beacon Training College (2014).

Ms. Titus – a TSC registered career teacher – was over the years instrumental in the academic excellence of the various basic, primary and secondary education institutions she taught in.

Prior to her appointment by Governor Dr. Julius Malombe (EGH) to head the Education, Training and Skills Development docket, Ms. Titus had since July 2013 worked as an ECDE Teacher at Thua Primary School under the employ of the County Government of Kitui.

She also taught English and CRE at Zombe Girls’ Secondary School, Kitui East from 1992. In 1990-1991, she taught at St. John’s Malivani Secondary School in Makueni County.

Besides being an individual who believes in professionalism, integrity, teamwork, transparency and accountability, Ms. Titus also actively participates in community service and resource mobilization.

The CECM intends to provide strategic leadership in the implementation of projects and initiatives aimed at streamlining and improving the county’s basic, technical and vocational education and training sector.
