Amenity Ward and Amenity Outpatient department

The County government under the leadership of governor Ngilu established amenity ward to provide high-end health care services for the corporate clients, , modelled in the same way of private hospitals.

The amenity center opened its door in November 2018, while the amenity outpatient department became operation in June 2019.

The model is aimed at improving services, and improve revenue collection from the high-end clients helps in subsidizing health care services for residents who would not have afforded the cost.

The model has seen several insurance companies among them Heritage and National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) accredit the hospital to attend to their clients at the facility.
